The Logic and Path of Rural Revitalization Strategy Empowering Rural Mutual Aid Elderly Care

Abstract

With the intensification of population aging in China, the issue of rural elderly care has become increasingly severe, and the traditional elderly care model is no longer sufficient to meet the demands. Against this backdrop, rural mutual aid elderly care has emerged as a new model. The implementation of the rural revitalization strategy has provided multiple forms of empowerment for rural mutual aid elderly care, including policies, funds, and talents, making it an important path to solve the rural elderly care dilemma. This article aims to explore how the rural revitalization strategy empowers rural mutual aid elderly care and points out its positive roles in policy support, resource integration, and social mobilization. However, rural mutual aid elderly care still faces problems such as imperfect policy design, insufficient funding, and a lack of professional talents. Therefore, this article proposes optimization paths, including improving the policy system, strengthening publicity and guidance, establishing a diversified fund-raising mechanism, cultivating professional talents, and improving infrastructure, with the aim of achieving the sustainable development of rural mutual aid elderly care and supporting the implementation of the rural revitalization strategy.
