Dog Snowsuit Market Analysis: Consumer Behavior, Brand Positioning, and Strategic Recommendations

Jiayu Kang

Abstract

This study examines the dog snowsuit market as a niche segment of the broader pet apparel industry, with attention to consumer behavior, brand positioning, product strategy, pricing, distribution, promotion, and sustainability. Using qualitative secondary research, evidence is drawn from academic studies, market reports, industry surveys, news coverage, and official brand websites. The analysis shows that demand is shaped by pet humanization, regional climate, dog size and physical needs, emotional attachment, and the growing willingness of owners to spend on products that combine protection with design. Brand comparison shows that these three brands fall into the categories of high-tech products, daily fashion and premium brands. There are three problems. First, the material claims of various prices are too similar to determine the product's value. Second, the brand should be both aesthetically pleasing and practical, comfortable, moveable, etc. Third, although people are starting to care about the sustainability of pet products, this is often not emphasized in marketing. Increase the openness of pricing by providing more detailed technical information, offer more flexible and mobile-friendly products, and strengthen the integration of genuine environmental protection at all links in the production and promotion process.
