Analysis of the Promoting Role of Computer Science and Technology in the Development of the Internet of Things

Abstract

As the cornerstone of the modern information society, computer science and technology play a crucial role in promoting the development of the Internet of Things (IoT). The essence of IoT lies in the deep integration of the physical world and the digital world, and computer science and technology serve as the bridge and engine for realizing this integration. This paper deeply analyzes the application of computer science and technology in all levels of the IoT architecture, including front-end data collection and preprocessing, core big data analysis, underlying wireless communication and 5G technology, as well as the security guarantee mechanism running through the whole system. Through detailed case analysis and theoretical discussion, this paper aims to reveal how computer science and technology enhance the efficiency of IoT by improving computing power and optimizing network communication, ensure its stability through fault detection and redundant design, and strengthen its security through advanced encryption and authentication technologies.
