Research on the Design Transformation of Chinese Dragon Pattern in Contemporary Jadeite Jewelry

Abstract


This paper takes Chinese dragon pattern as the research object, by systematically combing its morphological evolution and cultural connotation from the primitive society to the Ming and Qing Dynasties, combining with modern design concepts and aesthetic trends, based on the innovative practice of contemporary jadeite jewelry design, explores the innovative integration of Chinese dragon pattern modeling elements, the modern translation of cultural artistic conception and the breakthrough and innovation of process techniques. This paper expounds how to integrate the traditional dragon pattern into the design of jadeite jewelry in a novel and unique way, which provides a useful reference for the inheritance of traditional culture and the development of modern design.
