A Study of the Impact of Practical English Programs on Enhancing Workplace Competitiveness

Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to explore the impact of practical English courses on enhancing workplace competitiveness. By analyzing the content of the Practical English course and combining it with the needs of the workplace environment, the study finds that the Practical English course can effectively improve the learners' English communication skills, cross-cultural communication skills, information acquisition and processing skills as well as the application of English in the professional field, which will have a positive impact on the competitiveness of the workplace. The article also discusses the factors affecting the effectiveness of the Practical English program and makes suggestions for improvement.
