The Application of Interactive Tools in College English Classroom Teaching
Abstract
Interactive tools are everywhere in college English now. Digital platforms, online writing systems, automated feedback—they've all become part of how we teach. This paper looks at what research tells us about how these tools affect classroom dynamics, teacher talk, student participation, and learning outcomes. But here's the thing. None of these benefits come automatically. A lot depends on whether teachers are ready, whether institutions provide support, and whether the pedagogy is thoughtfully designed. The paper also looks at common problems: weak training, technical issues, and resistance to change. Based on what we know from the research, I offer some practical suggestions for making integration work better.
