The Value Implications and Practical Paths of Integrating the Great Spirit of Party Building into Ideological and Political Course Teaching in Colleges and Universities
Abstract
The great founding spirit, with the core essence of “upholding truth and ideals, practicing the original aspiration and shouldering the mission, fearing sacrifice and fighting bravely, being loyal to the Party and serving the people”, is the source of the spiritual spectrum of the Chinese Communists and a valuable spiritual resource for shaping the soul and educating people in ideological and political courses in colleges and universities in the new era. Deeply integrating the great founding spirit into the teaching of ideological and political courses in colleges and universities is not only an inherent requirement for fulfilling the fundamental task of fostering virtue and nurturing talent, but also a key measure to promote the high-quality development of ideological and political courses and cultivate new era talents capable of shouldering the great rejuvenation of the nation. Based on theoretical fit, practical needs and the mission of The Times, this paper systematically expounds the four value implications of integrating the great founding spirit into ideological and political teaching: political guidance, teaching innovation, youth growth and cultural inheritance, and proposes operational and implementable practical paths from four dimensions: environmental optimization, team building, classroom innovation and practical empowerment. To provide theoretical support and practical guidance for deepening the reform and innovation of ideological and political courses in colleges and universities in the new era, and to carry forward the red bloodline and inherit the red genes.
